Work with us

As part of The Engine Room’s ongoing direct support program, we are especially offering tech and data support, at no cost, to individuals or groups who are working for social justice in Latin America and/or the Caribbean.
This includes groups, individuals or organizations working towards healthier information ecosystems in these regions!
This includes those who:
- advocate for access to information for their community (or for other groups that might not have access to the information they need)
- work to fill information gaps in their community
- help people access crucial information about their rights, or work to spread quality information on topics that are often targeted by disinformation campaigns.
- work on media education projects, run small news or media outlets, work on local journalism or alternative media, organize community-driven information initiatives, disseminate critical information to your community, etc!
- are monitoring or researching how your community is impacted by info disorder, and/or and figuring out creative ways to strengthen our information ecosystem.
Our support is open to communicators, civil society organizations, community organizers and activists working on a variety of issues, including gender justice, sexual and reproductive health and rights, racial justice and anti-racism, climate and environmental justice, indigenous rights, disability rights, economic justice, human rights and more.
